The Artwork
The composition is almost entirely open space — pale sand and hazy sky — broken only by a thin line of turquoise surf and small, precise dabs of colour: red and yellow kites overhead, sapphire umbrellas below, tiny figures caught mid-stride. The eye drifts across the quiet expanse before settling on each small, deliberate gesture of colour.
